Shedding is a natural process for cats and can lead to health concerns if excessive. We use a variety of specalised grooming tools to safely detangle and remove loose hair and undercoat without damaging the skin. Deshedding is often undertaken alongisde a hygiene clip.

Many cats are prone to matting, especially our long-haired breeds (Yes Ragdolls, that includes you!). Many mats are too big to be brushed out, are painful and cause skin irritation. Clipping the coat is advisable in these patients. We offer anything from Hygiene Clips to full body Lion Clips to suit you and your cats needs (and adventurous spirits).

Many cats develop matting and poor coat condition due to inability to groom. This can be as a result of many factors, most commonly arthritis and dental disease. Our oral assessment and teeth brushing is performed by Dr Helen, our veterinarian, and is a free service with any groom.

Our sedation is administered by Dr Helen after a full health assessment. The sedation is given via injection and is reversible. Your cat will be monitored by Dr Helen from the point of injection to full recovery.

Our nail clips are free with all our grooms.

For our Golden Oldies requiring sedation, we offer fluid support during this process to support kidney function and cardiovascular stability.
