Amanda Silburn
Amanda is a veterinary nurse, TAFE teacher and qualified groomer with years of experience grooming and caring for cats. She has worked in veterinary clinics throughout the Southern Highlands and teaches up- and -coming animal lovers in animal studies. Her passion lies in cat grooming, which is fortunate as she shares her home with 6 long- haired cats! Amanda's heart is as big as her home which is filled with cats, Bassets, Dachshunds, chooks, 3 rambunctious boys and a long suffering husband.
Dr Helen McLean
Dr. Helen McLean is a small animal veterinarian with a wealth of experience caring for pets across South Africa and Australia. After qualifying as a veterinarian in 2007 in South Africa, Helen has dedicated her career to the health and wellbeing of companion animals. Now based in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, she provides locum veterinary services across the region.
At The Puurfect Groom, Helen works alongside Amanda to offer gentle, stress-free sedation for cats in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring a calm and positive grooming experience. Passionate about compassionate, low-stress care, Helen’s goal is to make each cat’s wellbeing the heart of every visit.
Even though your cat will be the focus of Helen's visit, you may be subjected to stories and photos of her Maine Coon, Samatha!
